Moon Dragon Valencia - Annapolis
What an amazing adventure this has been for Captain Jef and his team. Crossing the Atlantic during Hurricane season is definitely not an easy job for them, but the brand new Moon Yachts production 60ft Catamaran Moon Dragon simply cannot wait. The boat must attend the Annapolis Boat Show, so time to go!
Valencia is where it all starts as Moon Dragon arrives after a short initial charter test with the owner and crew. We meet them here and after a quick take over we are ready to go
Preparing such a big catamaran for a long passage requires some time, especially all the technical checks that such a boat requires being brand new. Fortunately, all passes the test and although some small issue Captain Jef is happy and we can mone on.
Moon Dragon sails exceptionally well and she is really fast, and after skipping at least two named Hurricanes she makes Saint Marteen. The journey continues and after a few days, and after a severe storm coming down the Gulf Stream, they arrive at the final destination. All happy now!
