Meeting the owners of Elba 45 Cecilia 2 is incredibly nice as we complete the takeover and make sure all is in place. The weather is not the best in La Rochelle, but it’s okay our spirit is high and we can only see blue sky. I will be helping them go around the boat and arrange all that is coming next. This is necessary as the first step before the final hand over of the vessel.
La Rochelle is also a good place to visit full of history, bars and restaurants. This is the real Mecca for any sailor with all the sailing and chandlery shops anyone can wish for. In addition, La Rochelle is also a University Town so that gives a great mix of interesting people around making it a lively place.
