Beneteau Oceanis 50 Coorabell Barcelona to Gibraltar
The delivery of Coorabell, a Beneteau Oceanis 50 to Gibraltar was definitely a particular delivery indeed.
The purpose of this delivery was to check the boat in and out of the EU.
This is to comply with EU VAT temporary importation regulation.
The allowance is 18 months and no extra allowance has been given under COVID-19.
With current travel restrictions in place, many customers have been unable to fly to their boats to move them.
So this is when we come into action.
The delivery is very smooth under the directions of Captain Joseph Carew Bourke and his crew.
Great timing on preparing the boat into the water from the hard including all running rigging, sails and all that had been taken off for winterizing and so needed to be restored getting her prepared for the voyage again. All done in a day and in the best possible way.
The arrival of Beneteau Oceanis 50 Coorabell n Gibraltar is a little surprise as no marinas are available and all needs to be done by an agent.
I AM Joseph is surely one step ahead and is all ready and done on arrival with a fast departure back to Barcelona.
The yacht has checked out of the EU and will check in again once in Barcelona. Great job done!
