Caribbean Yacht Delivery

Seasonal Yacht Deliveries – Europe to the Caribbean and Beyond

Most yacht owners prefer to move their yachts according to the season. It’s very common to spend the summer in Europe and the winter in the Caribbean or the Bahamas.

Typical seasonal routes include transfers between the USA, various Caribbean Islands, the British Virgin Islands (BVI), and, of course, the Bahamas.

Popular routes typically run between the USA, the Caribbean Islands, the British Virgin Islands (BVI) and, of course, the Bahamas.

At Delivery Captain, we have extensive experience in these areas and can assist yacht owners with reliable, efficient, and safe seasonal relocations in both directions.

In addition to private seasonal deliveries, we regularly handle numerous jobs for new yacht owners, particularly during the twin-season handovers.

Delivering a sailing vessel—whether a monohull or multihull—to the Caribbean can take up to seven weeks and is typically managed by a professional three-person crew:

  • Skipper

  • First Mate

  • Competent Crew

All our crew are fully qualified and experienced professionals. The skipper and our office work together to plan the passage and route, though the skipper always holds final decision-making authority for safety at sea.

Owners or brokers may request specific stopovers to either join the crew or for other personal preferences. Wherever possible, Delivery Captain will accommodate these requests.
