Elan Impression 43 Zephir Antigua to Cape Town

boat at anchor in antigua

Yacht delivery from Antigua to Cape Town, South Africa is our speciality.

Delivery from the Caribbean is especially common in our business, particularly around October/November, just after hurricane season.

Many yacht owners wish to move their vessels to warmer climates, such as the Caribbean.

Charter companies also move their fleet over to the USA and the Caribbean islands for business purposes.

The delivery of Elan 43 Zephir is unique because the boat owner wants to take their boat back home.

Therefore, we are travelling from Antigua down to Brazil, past the equator, before crossing over to the African side and then ultimately, South Africa’s Cape Town.

Antigua:

The overall passage goes pretty slow and various stops are made to rest the crew and the boat avoiding the worst of the bad weather when possible.

Zephir Elan 43 makes her first stop in Fortaleza.

The Captain set the route to go further south before crossing over the South Atlantic Ocean.

After 6 weeks they finally arrive in Cape Town.

The boat owner is very happy and despite a few minor issues, the boat is safely delivered to the destination.
